Sebring 12 ore: dominio Audi

Doppietta Audi nella prima maratona dell’anno sul tracciato di Sebring, con il trionfo di Marcel Fässler, Benoit Tréluyer ed Oliver Jarvis seguiti dai compagni Tom Kristensen, Allan McNish e Lucas Di Grassi. Le due E-Tron schierate dalla casa degli anelli hanno marciato come orologi per tutta la durata della 12 ore. Il terzo gradino del podio è per la Lola-Toyota del Team Rebellon pilotata da Nico Prost, Neel Jani e Nick Heidfeld.

La classe LMP2 vede la doppietta delle Honda ARX-03b del team Level 5 di Scott Tucker che, oltre a fare il Team Manager ha anche pilotato entrambe le vetture, giungendo quinto assoluto con  Ryan Briscole – Marino Franchitti e sesto con Simon Pagenaud – Ryan Hunter-Reay.

La lotta in casa GT ha visto prevalere la Corvette C6.R di Oliver Gavin, Tommy Milner e Richard Westbrook sulla Ferrari di Matteo Malucelli – Gimmi Bruni – Olivier Beretta. Terza piazza per la Porsche di Sellers-Henzler-Tandy, gommata Falken.
